		<description>Nice post Larre. While the description of the technology sounds a bit like a marketing-blurb from the producer you're enthusiasm really shines through. It's nigh on impossible not to be at least a little bit envious.

Interesting remark about the "future of cinema" as well. It could well be that you're on to something. Digital distribution, well equiped home theatres and other forms of entertainment is taking its toll on Hollywood. In many ways it's similar to when the telly first arrived Stateside. To battle the new house-alter tinseltown came up with stuff like Cinemascope etc. to give the audience a superior experience to the small box in their living rooms.

Perhaps super-high-def, high-frame-rate 3D Imax stuff is the answer to the recent onslaught of flat-screen-tellies and digital surround systems...</description>
